Hi,
in a similar vein to the samba question above, has anyone compiled
GTK version 2.0 or 2.2 on SCO? How about QT3?

SCO provide GTK 1.2.3 as custom packages on skunkware, and the 1.2.8
version as source. The have a version 1 of QT (1.44 IIRC) there too.
Both are a bit archaic.

I have tried GTK2 and 2.2 myself with gcc version 2.95.2 19991024,
gmake 3.79 on OS5.0.5. I ran into lots of problems, all of which I am
convinced are to do with running old development software.

So, before I worry about exact error messages etc, has anyone else
succeeded, and if so, what software did you use to compile?

Yes, I did, I think there are newer version also available via the
updates/upgrades. If not they should be soon.
